- Montezuma Castle National Park
The best preserved cliff dwellings in the United States. Built
by the Sinagua Indian Culture over 600 years ago above the Verde
River. The dwelling is over 5-storys tally and has 20 rooms. The
ruin is viewed from below as you look half way up a cliff wall.
A visitor center is available for explaining the history of the
site. Approximately 100 miles from Green Valley.
